Huntington National Bank Announces New Regional President in Indiana Joe Breen Promoted to lead Indiana region

INDIANAPOLIS, In. - Today Huntington Bank announced the promotion of Joe Breen to Regional President for Indiana. Breen has been with Huntington for 15 years serving the Indiana region, most recently as Senior Vice President, where he was responsible for the strategic
direction and management of the commercial banking team.

“Joe Breen is an exceptional leader with a passion for advancing economic stability, opportunity for all, and prosperity for the region,” said Sandy Pierce, Regional Banking Executive. “He exemplifies Huntington’s commitment to looking out for people and building deep relationships
across greater Indiana.”

Joe Breen has been engaged in commercial lending, investment banking and financial services sales his entire career and has a passion for serving the community.

“I am excited to enter this new role and to continue serving Hoosiers,” said Joe Breen, Regional President. “I am dedicated to Huntington and the communities we serve in the state I get to call home and am honored to continue the great work my colleagues are putting forth in the region.” 

Breen serves as the Chair of the Board and Chair of the Executive Committee of the Children’s Bureau. He also serves on the board, the Executive Committee, and leader of the Finance Committee of Junior Achievement of Central Indiana. Breen currently serves as the Chair of
the Board for the Central Indiana Police Foundation and serves on the Board of the Indianapolis Motorcycle Drill Team, the Indianapolis Hundred Club, and Chairs the Marquette Manor Foundation. He is the Treasurer, and a Board Member of the Indianapolis Oldtimers Club (a
charitable athletic organization). Breen recently became the 2022 President of the Indianapolis Chapter of Legatus. Further, Breen has over twenty-five years of experience coaching various sports for Bishop Chatard High School, the Catholic Youth Organization and First Baptist
Athletics. Breen currently serves on the Senior Advisors Board, the Executive Committee, the Finance Committee, and the Strategic Planning Committee of Saint Mary’s Child Center, and he recently completed six years on the Board of Regents for Bishop Chatard High School.

Breen graduated from Purdue University and received an M.B.A. from Butler University. Breen will replace John Corbin who is stepping down from the position. We thank John Corbin for more than 14 years of dedication to Huntington.
