Junior Achievement, IPS to Host Virtual Fair

INDIANAPOLIS - Junior Achievement of Central Indiana and Indianapolis Public Schools will host a virtual fair this Tuesday and Thursday. The organization says the interactive high school experience will expose more than 4,000 IPS juniors and seniors to the so-called 3 E’s, making sure they are ready to be enrolled in a college or university, employed at a livable wage or enlisted in one of the branches of the military when they graduate.

The IPS and JA 3E Fair will feature pre-recorded videos, resources and materials for download, direct links to applications and enrollment, and live Q&A sessions with HR professionals, post-secondary education representatives, and U.S. military personnel.

The organization’s say volunteers from more than 60 organizations will provide live events that offer tips on interviewing and getting a job in the current environment, paying for higher education and the life and jobs of an enlisted soldier.

Students, ages 14 to 18, will have access to employment applications that match their experience and education levels.
